Evaluate Your Performance for Copy Trading Success
Learn about Reporting Tool and How to Use it to Evaluate Your Overall Strategy

We know that trading is important for you. And one of the ways to constantly improve is by having a benchmark and ultimately, a way to measure. That’s why we dedicated a page just for the reporting tool.
The reporting tool helps you stay on top of both gains and losses, while also understanding the impact of deposits, withdrawals, and trading decisions over time.
It gives you a big-picture view of how your Master and Slave accounts are doing. Instead of focusing on individual trades, it compiles the key data from each account giving you a clear understanding of how well your copy trading strategy is performing overall. It's a useful tool for managing and evaluating your forex copy trade strategy from a more strategic, high-level perspective.
While this report gives a general performance overview, it’s important to do your own analysis, as any changes to broker details will reset the data.
Copy Trader's Guide to Key Metric Definitions
High Water Mark (HWM):
HWM is the highest point your account has ever reached. It tracks your profits, balance, and net deposits, giving you an idea of the peak performance of your copy trading strategy so far.
Starting and Ending Balance:
These numbers show what your account balance was at the beginning and end of the selected period. Calculated at the end of each month (12:00 PM CET), this helps you see how your MT4 copy trading strategy has progressed over time.
Deposit & Withdrawal:
This metric reflects the total amount you've deposited and withdrawn during the month. It’s a useful way to track the flow of money in and out of your copy trader account.
Performance % and P&L (Profit and Loss):
Performance % is calculated based on the difference between your Ending Balance and Starting Balance, factoring in any deposits or withdrawals. This percentage shows whether your copy trade strategy is growing your account or not. P&L simply gives you the numerical value of the Performance %.
To access the reporting tool, you can click here or click on "View Reporting" on your cockpit's top dashboard. You can also maximize the sidebar and look for Reporting Tool in the navigation.
Cross-Platform Trade Copier from MT5 → MT4, and more
Your trading strategy shouldn’t be limited by platform—and with our Trade Copier, it doesn’t have to be. Whether you're working with MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXtrade, Tradovate/NinjaTrader, or Fortex, or connecting to prop firms and platforms like TradingView, LMAX, or FXCM Trading Station, we’ve got you covered. The best part? You’re not locked into one ecosystem. Want to copy trades from an MT5 → MT4 setup? Go for it. Prefer cTrader to MT5? That works too. You can even mix brokers and technologies! Our platform is continuously evolving to meet our community’s growing copy trading needs. Whether it’s advanced trade copier features, deeper customizations, or powerful reporting tools to track performance, Duplikium always deliver!
Bird's Eye-View Approach
It's good to understand that reporting tool only gives you the big picture. You create an observation or what we call here: assumptions. Ask questions like, what has changed in my strategy that led to this? Or what I could've done better to increase my performance %? From there, you look into the nitty and gritty parts. We suggest studying the biggest losses and wins you have within a given period. Study your entry and exit. Find the pattern! Are you winning on EURUSD but constantly losing on USDJPY? Maybe your strategy doesn't work on certain symbols but work on some.
Stay proactive, analyze your data, and always aim to improve! Also, feel free to explore Duplikium! We are constantly working on trade copier features to help you execute the tweaks and trade customizations you might need for the implementation of your strategy. Haven't tried us yet?
