Copy Trader Tips: Templates for Replicating Your Settings
Effortlessly apply your settings to multiple accounts
Where to Find Your Templates
Accessing your Templates is simple: Just hover over your left sidebar, and you'll see more settings. The Template feature is located right below the Reporting feature.
How to Set Up a Template
Step 1: Click "Add Template"
Step 2: Give your Template a name
Step 3: Set it up! Define all the settings you need (risk factors, symbol mappings, advanced settings, etc.).
Step 4: Assign it to your Slave accounts – In your Slave View, you’ll see a Template column where you can select from the Templates you've created.
And you’re done!
Pro Tip:
If you’re managing multiple Slave accounts that need symbol mapping, it’s smart to group them by broker and create a dedicated Template for each. This makes sense if you have a large number of accounts with the same symbol sets. It’ll let you cover two things: define the settings and map the symbols.
Why Use Templates?
Imagine managing 50 to 100 accounts…instead of defining settings one by one, you can strategically create Templates and apply them instantly. Even better, if you need to make changes, just update the Template, and it will automatically apply to all assigned accounts.
How Other Users Are Leveraging Templates
Some traders organize by risk or by strategy. For example, they assign Strategy A to one group and Strategy B to another. Others set up Templates based on brokers to simplify mapping. You can be
creative and work smarter with your Trade Copier!
