How Signal Providers Can Onboard Followers Without Handling Sensitive Access

Onboarding is where a lot of signal services either build trust fast or lose people before they even start.

Most followers aren't just asking "can this strategy perform?" They're also asking, "Do I need to hand over my login?", "Who controls my account?", and "What exactly am I agreeing to?" That hesitation is completely normal. In trading, people are right to be careful. The good news? You're no longer stuck doing manual onboarding over Telegram, Discord, email, or private chat. Here's how it works.

What the Signal Provider add-on actually does

At its core, the Signal Provider add-on turns a standard trade-copy setup into a provider-and-follower workflow.
You connect your provider trading account, create your Signal Provider settings, and get a special invite link for your signal. Your followers use that link to register, securely connect their broker account on their side, and define their own position sizing and risk preferences. Once they are set up, your trades can be copied automatically to their accounts. Yes, that’s it.

Trade Copier also gives providers control over the relationship. You can manually approve new followers, unlink or relink them at any time, and even deactivate copying or your Signal Provider link if you want to stop new subscriptions.

The Signal Provider Add-On is Now FREE (If You Meet the Following Conditions):

The Signal Provider add-on is now completely free. No extra cost on top of your existing plan.
The only requirement is that your master account is on a paid plan. If you're currently on the old free plan, you'll need to remove it to take advantage of this. This applies to both new and existing signal providers.

Earn revenue from your signals: How Signal Provider Billing Works?

The add-on also gives you flexible billing choices. You can either cover the follower copier costs yourself or let your followers pay for their own subscriptions. If your followers pay directly through Duplikium, you can add a markup on top of the subscription price, and that markup revenue will be credited monthly to your Duplikium Prepay eWallet, minus applicable processing fees. You can then use this balance to pay for accounts under the Prepay Plan or request a manual payout via bank transfer. Check out our example below. Please note that you, as the signal provider, will determine the markup you want. Please read our full markup conditions here.

You also remain free to handle billing yourself outside of Duplikium and apply your own markup directly with your followers. Please note that this is not a direct performance-fee or profit-sharing system based on the follower's trading account. It is a copier service with subscription and markup options.

Who the Signal Provider add-on is for

This is a strong fit for anyone with followers, clients, or a trading audience who wants a more professional way to onboard them like independent signal sellers, educators with private communities, pro traders monetizing a strategy, or firms distributing a model portfolio.

It's especially useful when your audience is spread across different brokers or platforms. The add-on supports cross-platform copying across MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXTrade, Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and more, covering Forex, CFDs, Futures, Indices, Volatility Indices, and cryptocurrencies, so you're not limited to followers who all use the same setup.

Best practices for signal providers using the add-on

Keep settings part of onboarding: Trade Copier’s own flow includes follower copy preferences for position sizing and risk. Do not bury that. Tell followers how you recommend they start: small size, test first. Be clear with your recommended settings, especially the risk factor. You can also encourage your followers to activate protective settings, like Account Settings, to limit their risk or even define a max order size to prevent huge order sizes that could harm their account.

Provide them with a list of symbols you’ll be trading: If your followers are using different brokers, it’s best to provide them with a list of symbols you’ll be trading. This is important because symbol formats can vary depending on the platform. By default, our Trade Copier can recognize suffix differences. However, if the difference is more complex, like XAUUSD to GOLD, mapping would be required. Please check our symbol settings tutorial here. This will prevent orders from not getting copied due to symbol differences.

Use manual approval when it makes sense: Because providers can approve followers manually, use that control intentionally. It is useful for private groups, premium communities, or signals where you want tighter oversight of who gets access.

Be clear about who pays with more details: Trade Copier gives you two models: provider-paid or follower-paid. Pick one and explain it plainly. If followers are paying and you add markup, be upfront about that, too. Clear billing beats surprise billing every time.

The best signal providers do not just focus on entries and exits. They focus on the experience around the signal.
So if you are still onboarding followers through private messages, asking for too much information, or manually setting up every account yourself, this is probably the real upgrade to think about. Are you ready to become a Signal Provider? Learn more about the Signal Provider add-on here.
